I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
